Quali dati trattiamo
Using the site without an account. The measurements you enter in the calculator, the tools and the maneuver stay in your browser (your device's local storage) and are not sent to our servers. The same applies to the chosen theme, saved setups and the checklist. We do not collect name, email or account.
Account (optional). If you choose to register, we process your email address, needed to sign in (with a link sent by email) and to associate with you the setups and trips you decide to save to your account. These saves are kept on our servers as long as you keep the account.
Vehicle submissions and reports. If you submit a vehicle entry or a report, we process the data you fill in (measurements, notes, any source). We ask you not to enter personal data in the notes.
Technical and security data. To limit abuse (repeated submissions, sign-in requests) we keep a anonymous fingerprint of the connection for a short time: the IP address is never kept in clear text, but only as a salted hash. The server may record standard technical logs.
Cookie e memoria locale
We distinguish two categories, as you can see in the cookie banner:
- Necessary (always on). Session cookie (
cec_ses): set only if you sign in to your account, it keeps you securely logged in. It does not require consent. Local storage (localStorage) — theme, saved setups, checklist and the state you entered — is not made of cookies: it stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. We also save your cookie choice there (cec_consenso). - Statistics (optional, active only with your consent). They help us understand in aggregate form how the site is used, through tools such as Google Analytics 4. They are loaded only after you accept them in the banner.
- Marketing (optional, active only with your consent). They serve to measure advertising campaigns and show relevant ads, through tools such as the Meta Pixel of Facebook/Instagram. They are loaded only after you accept them in the banner.
You can accept, refuse or customize the categories from the banner, and change your mind at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. If you do not consent to Statistics or Marketing, those tools are not loaded. For Google tools we use Consent Mode, which by default blocks analytics and advertising cookies until you consent. Some of these tools (e.g. Google, Meta) may involve a transfer of data to third countries such as the United States, on the basis of the safeguards provided by the respective providers.

- Providing the service and the functions you request (calculation, saving, account): performance of a service at your request.
- Site security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
Per quanto tempo
- Email and account data: as long as you keep the account; on deletion they are removed.
- Sign-in links: valid for 20 minutes and single-use, then deleted.
- Anti-abuse fingerprints: deleted within a few days.
I tuoi diritti
You can request at any time access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, and portability. To exercise them write to g.rago@likeyousrl.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority (Garante).
Deleting the account. You can request deletion of your account and saves by writing to g.rago@likeyousrl.com. In a future version we will add a "Delete account" button directly on the Account page.
